Accounting Marketplace Terms

Autonify — accounting services marketplace Last updated: 18 August 2026 · Version 1.2

These terms supplement the Autonify Terms of Service and govern the participation of accountants and accounting practices ("providers") in the Autonify marketplace. Accepting them is required before your profile is published and before you offer services through the marketplace. Autonify is operated by APEX SYSTEMS EOOD, UIC 208560191. The Bulgarian version is the legally operative one; this translation is provided for convenience.

1. What the marketplace is

The marketplace connects companies looking for an accountant with providers who publish a public profile and a price list. Hiring, payments and access to the client's accounting data all run through the platform. Autonify is not a party to the accounting services contract — that contract is between you and the client; we provide the matching, the access, the payment rails and the reporting.

2. Platform commission

  • Autonify retains 20% of every payment that flows through the marketplace (monthly packages, one-off services, agreed consultation prices).
  • The percentage is snapshotted onto each individual payment at the time it is made — a later change of the commission never recalculates past periods.
  • The net amount (after commission) first covers your monthly Autonify charges (subscription and add-ons); the remainder is paid out to you.

3. Payouts

  • Payouts are made to a bank account (IBAN) you enter or pick from your connected accounts, on the platform's payout day of the month.
  • Without a bank account on file, accumulated funds are held as credit and paid on the first payout date after you provide one. Credit keeps covering your monthly Autonify costs and can be used for upgrades.
  • The first monthly statement is calculated after each engagement's first full calendar month.

4. Non-circumvention (no time limit)

  • A relationship created through the marketplace stays on the marketplace. A client and provider matched through the marketplace can never use the free access invitation ("Invite an accountant") with each other — for any of that client's companies (UIC), no matter how much time has passed.
  • The public profile and pre-hire materials may not contain direct contact routes (phone, email, web address, messenger). A profile containing one is refused on save.
  • Your freedom outside the marketplace is unchanged: clients who invited you themselves, without finding you through the marketplace, are not affected by these rules.
  • Attempts to circumvent the commission (token prices, diverting payments off-platform for a service that started on the marketplace) are grounds for removal from the marketplace.

5. Prices and minimums

  • The price list is yours: you set your packages and prices, including the one-off annual financial statements (ГФО) service and agreed consultation prices.
  • The platform enforces minimum prices (currently €20 per month for a monthly package; €50 for a one-off ГФО) so the commission cannot be defeated with token amounts.
  • By default a price change applies only to new hires; current clients stay on the price at which they hired.
  • You may apply a price increase to current clients only with 60 days' notice: the client is notified immediately and until it takes effect can accept the new price by staying, or cancel and choose another accountant. A decrease takes effect at the next monthly billing, no notice needed.
  • Introductory offer. Early in your participation in the marketplace you may publish an introductory price for new clients through the platform. It is labelled as such to the client and respects the minimums above. This is the only permitted way to offer a discount in order to attract clients (see section 11).

6. Client payments and non-payment

  • Monthly packages are billed once a month — each month on the same day of the month the hire happened (a hire on the 15th means billing on every 15th). On a failed payment the platform retries; once retries are exhausted the engagement is suspended and your access to the client's company is revoked automatically.
  • The client may cancel an engagement at any time; access ends with it. The conversation of a closed engagement stays readable for both sides but accepts no new messages.

7. Your obligations

  • You provide the services with professional care and in accordance with the Accountancy Act, the Tax and Social Security Procedure Code and applicable law.
  • The client data you gain access to is confidential; you use it only for the engaged work. Access happens exclusively through the platform's delegation mechanism.
  • You are solely responsible for your own tax and social security obligations on amounts received, and for documenting your services to the client.
  • Your profile must accurately describe your qualifications and the scope of your services.

8. Autonify's role and directory ordering

  • We provide the matching, the access, payment collection and payouts; we guarantee neither client volume nor outcomes.
  • There is no composite score. The platform does not compute a point score, an overall rating or a quality ranking of providers — neither publicly nor internally.
  • How the directory is ordered. Profiles are grouped by what data exists about them (holds a badge; holds none; not enough data yet; not accepting clients) and ordered within their group by a rotation that changes daily. Order within a group does not depend on the behaviour of platform users and cannot be influenced by anyone viewing profiles.
  • Every third position in each sequence is reserved for profiles for which there is not enough data yet.
  • A subscription affects the share of positions only. A practice with a paid Autonify subscription receives a larger share of directory positions — four in every five; one in every five is reserved for practices without one. Which of the five is the reserved position changes daily, so over any five days it visits every position in the block, including the first.
  • A paid subscription affects nothing else: not badges, not the facts displayed, not the order within a group. Payment buys a share of positions and nothing more.
  • The full description of these rules, together with the reasoning behind them, is published on the "How ranking works" page.
  • Profiles not accepting new clients are shown at the end and labelled as such.
  • We may remove a profile that violates these terms, the law or third-party rights.

9. Badges

  • Badges are computed automatically against published criteria. They are never applied for and are not granted at discretion or for payment.
  • Three exist today: "Responds quickly", "Files on time" and "Clients stay". The exact criteria, measurement windows and thresholds are published on the "How ranking works" page.
  • A badge is earned at the first evaluation whose criteria are met and lost only after two consecutive evaluations at which they are not. On a loss you receive a reasoned notice on a durable medium and a right of appeal to a human (section 12).
  • The "Files on time" badge is computed over filings recorded in Autonify. If you file through the NRA portal, recording the filing in the app is your responsibility: an owed filing with no record in Autonify after a short grace period counts as not filed on time. The rule applies equally to everyone and is the safeguard against recording only the convenient cases.
  • Badges do not claim NRA verification. An electronic NRA receipt exists today only for Д1/Д6; where a receipt exists it is displayed separately and explicitly as such. A badge claiming NRA verification will be introduced only if and when the NRA provides the corresponding electronic channel, and after notice under section 14.
  • Badge thresholds and windows are part of these terms: changing them is a change of terms with at least 15 days' notice.

10. Declared commitments

  • If there is not enough data about your profile yet, you may declare a response time. A declaration is labelled explicitly as declared and unverified, and is clearly distinguished from a badge.
  • A declaration is falsifiable: once enough conversations have accumulated it is measured against your actual replies. If the measurement falls outside what you declared, the declaration is removed, you receive a reasoned notice, and you may not declare again for 30 days.
  • A declaration borne out by the data converts automatically into the corresponding badge.

11. Client feedback

  • On the cancellation of an engagement, and once a year, the platform may invite the client to answer a short question about the engagement.
  • This feedback is confidential and is not published. It is not shown to the provider — not per client, not in aggregate, not anonymised — it does not become a public rating, stars or a score, and it does not by itself result in any measure against you. Only platform staff have access to it, in the course of a review under section 12.
  • The platform does not publish client reviews and does not operate a public rating system.
  • You are prohibited from requesting, encouraging, rewarding or conditioning a discount, gift or other benefit on any feedback, review or rating — on the platform or off it. Presenting ratings, reviews or scores from other platforms in your profile is likewise prohibited.
  • The permitted way to attract your first clients with a lower price is the introductory offer under section 5.

12. Reviews, measures and appeals

  • Suspected abuse — automated replies, linked identities, implausible filing data, a price change to a client shortly after an action of theirs that was adverse to you — is recorded as a case for review by a human. Nothing is penalised automatically.
  • Every adverse measure — loss of a badge, suspension of accepting new clients, removal of a declared commitment, removal from the directory — is taken by a member of staff, communicated to you with reasons and on a durable medium, and subject to appeal to a human within the platform.
  • Your profile may be automatically paused for new clients if your access to several client companies is restricted because your plan's slots are exhausted. This is a capacity state, not a penalty: we notify you with reasons, and the state ends when the plan is upgraded or after a successful appeal.
  • The methods and thresholds used to detect abuse are not disclosed — disclosing them would defeat them. The reasons for the specific measure taken against you are always communicated to you.

13. Termination by you

  • You may terminate an engagement on 60 days' notice. The client is notified immediately.
  • Through the notice period the engagement is billed normally and you continue to owe the agreed service; your access to the client's company ends at the end of the period.
  • Termination does not lift the non-circumvention rule in section 4: the relationship was still created through the marketplace.
  • The client receives the same feedback invitation as on any other cancellation.
  • A termination before the engagement reaches 12 months counts towards the "Clients stay" badge. The number of engagements you have terminated is not published.

14. Changes

On a material change of these terms we will ask for a new acceptance on your next visit to the marketplace; until then the terms you accepted continue to apply. The version you accepted is recorded with a date and user.

A change to the directory ordering rules, or to the criteria, windows or thresholds of the badges, takes effect no earlier than 15 days after it has been communicated to you on a durable medium, except where the change implements a legal obligation.

15. Governing law

The provisions of the Terms of Service apply, including governing law and competent court (Varna, Republic of Bulgaria).
